Akademie der Ruhr UniversitatOur programme provides you with the essential skills to plan future-oriented sites and infrastructure for sustainable energy systems, with a particular focus on hydrogen technology. As the transition to climate-neutral energy systems presents significant challenges, hydrogen offers a key solution for many industrial and transport applications that still rely on gaseous and liquid fuels.
Hands-on experience is at the heart of our programme: through immersive projects, partnerships with industry leaders and exposure to current research, you can put your knowledge to work and position yourself as a driving force in the energy transition. We also emphasise the development of your leadership and intercultural skills to prepare you for success in an international environment.
The curriculum combines technological expertise with practical planning skills in scenario development, public participation and fostering societal acceptance. These skills, which are at the heart of our School of Spatial Planning, are crucial to the implementation of effective sustainable energy strategies.
With a multidisciplinary, global perspective on current research topics, you will be fully equipped to tackle real-world projects and independently address complex issues. Join an innovative programme that not only provides the key skills for a career in energy, but also the knowledge and tools to help shape a sustainable future. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and start your career in one of the world’s most dynamic industries.
Have completed Bachelor’s degree or a course of study leading to the state examination or an equivalent course of study in one of the subjects:preferably engineering sciences (spatial planning, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering), natural sciences (geography, physics, chemistry), economics (specialising in energy management). The examination board decides on related subjects.
