Master’s degree in Nationalism Studies

Nationalism and national identities are some of the most powerful social forces in contemporary societies. Our Master offers a world-leading programme in the study of nationalism and national identities. The Master in Nationalism Studies takes an interdisciplinary approach which combines history, political science, sociology and anthropology. It is fully taught online and in English.

Our programme’s main goal is to form academic and consultancy researchers for public and private institutions. The Master in Nationalism Studies also aims to support investigations concerning a variety of substantive cases of nationalism in global perspective, helping political scientists, sociologists, journalists, historians and other professionals to think critically about the phenomenon.

The Master in Nationalism Studies is designed to attract top international students. The student profile of our interdisciplinary programme is broad and includes candidates with undergraduate degrees in History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, International Relations, Journalism, Law and Economics. Graduates with other humanities and social science degrees will be also considered.
