Máster Universitario en Estudios Ingleses Avanzados y sus Aplicaciones

The Master in Advanced English Studies and its Applications – iMAES is affiliated to the Faculty of Philology and the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is organised jointly with the Faculty of Philology and the Department of English at the University of A Coruña, and the Faculty of Philology and Translation and the Department of English, French and German at the University of Vigo (Downloadable Poster). All three universities are located in Galicia (Northwestern Spain), within easy driving distance of one another. The University of Santiago de Compostela was founded in 1495; in ARWU 2022 (Shanghai Ranking) it was ranked among the world’s top 500 universities and among the world’s top 250 universities in the field English Language and Literature. Likewise, it was ranked among the top 10 universities in Spain.

Students are required to be proficient in the English language at both oral and written levels (C1 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
